The company guarantees the quality of its production on the basis of the personal responsibility of its technicians and other staff. The company holds the following certificates and licences:

4. Great Welding Certificate awarded by SLV Berlin, authorizing for the production of steel structures
On 12th March 1996 the company firstly obtained the certificate BS EN ISO 9001:1994, ČSN EN ISO 9001:1994 Quality Management System, at the following scope: design and development, engineering, manufacture, refurbishment, installation and machine services and technological equipment for the paper and related industries including associated activities.
The certificate was updated in 2009 to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008 and is valid until 31st March 2011.
On 17th December 2007 the company was certified under ISO 14001:2004, ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005 Environment Management System.
The certificate is valid until 16th December 2010.
On 17th December 2007 the company was certified under OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
The certificate is valid until 16th December 2010.
On 14th - 15th October 2009 the company successfully underwent a re-audit focusing on the principles of ISO 9001:2000 and an inspection audit focusing on the principles of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. The auditors of Lloyd's Register did not identify any serious deficiencies and confirmed that PAPCEL, a.s. complied with the requirements of the standards specified above.
