Completion of the production line reconstruction Nicol-Pack Uchaly

Simplex and duplex boards with possibility of white top layer – capacity of 120 000 tpy.

On the 23rd and 24th November 2011 we finished guarantee tests to verify the agreed parameters of the given line after modernisation. All the capacitive and qualitative parameters were reached with reserves and unlimited.

These tests were carried out fully in compliance with the given contract and the client’s requirements, laid upon the doubled assortment with substances of 125 and 140 g/m2. We checked out not only performance of the entire line but also qualitative parameters of the paper machine itself, stock preparation and also consumption of steam, service water and geometry of the paper web being wound on the rewinder.

To prepare these tests we sent a working team of 7 people some days before. Their primary task was to prepare the paper machine, stock preparation, all accessories and, last but not least, all attendants for the straight testing run. For the testing procedure itself our assistance was extended by other 7 technicians.

Before the start-up of testing procedures assortment and testing schedules were jointly agreed and each parameter was monitored by a separate group with representatives both of the client and of the supplier who monitored the whole process and assessed reached parameters. Through the control system all setups and parameters were registered and printed.

These guarantee tests uniquely verified abilities of the line to produce also flutings and liners in top-grade quality – in compliance with GOST, grade B0 and K1.

The finished tests successfully completed the second phase of the entire line reconstruction in the paper mill Uchaly. On the other hand, our long-term cooperation with this very important customer is not over. Currently we go on collaborating in the sphere of improvement of technical standards for particular technological stages aimed at easier and more pleasant attendance.
