Krasnaya Zvezda Chashniki, Belarus

In 2010, after a two-year effort and a row of tenders, a contract with the company Krasnaya Zvezda Chashniki, Belarus was signed. New stock preparation line (140 t/day) and paper machine reconstruction with a performance increase to 80 t/day is to be delivered. The project has been financed with a help of Czech banks (ČSOB) and provided with insurance from the company EGAP. The financing has been provided with an indirect export credit to the importer.
PAPCEL does the machine-technological part, building part (new hall for the stock preparation line, the building part regarding the PM will be provided by the customer). The project documentation delivery and electric part of the project were given to Belarusian companies Akvar and Tusson.

During the project execution, the schedule has been delayed from the part of the company Krasnaya Zvezda. The building part has been postponed by approximately four months and therefore intensive negotiations are taking place to change the original schedule and postpone the assembly works execution. From the side of PAPCEL, the stock preparation line deliveries will have been completed by the end of the year and the PM by the end of 04/2012. The total amount of the project is 6,826,000 EUR. Project execution started in 10/2010 when the ČSOB and EGAP guarantees had been approved and the advance payment had been paid.
