Early in 2011 the final phase of the fine sorting stage commenced on the customer’s premises in Sokol. The line with its capacity of 300 tpd comprises three-stage slotted sorting, LD-sorting and final dewatering of rejects. The concerned machines were put into operation in a very short time in consideration of possible damage on external pipelines that could be caused by hard frosts. In the previous installation the insufficiently sorted stock harmed continuity of the PM production. After commissioning of the modernised line there were no failures newly registered in the PM duty caused by content of impurities in the stock.
