PAPCEL concluded a contract with an American giant

At the end of June 2009 the PAPCEL company concluded a contract with an American concern Sonoco Products Co., located in Kansas. A contract subject is a delivery of 16 drying cylinders at total amount of almost 159 ths. USD for its plant in Hutchinson (Kansas).

It is not a first deal made with the Sonoco company. Already in 2000 the engineering company reconstructed the PM 5 drying part at the French branch Sonoco Paper SA. In 2002 the same branch signed a contract on delivery of a new reel and reconstruction of  a Jagenberg rewinder with the PAPCEL Co. The Sonoco company, the headquarters of which is located in Hartsville, South Carolina, has approx. 300 branches and employs approx. 17.500 people worldwide. Its production comprises plastic and cardboard packages, cores, cardboard pipes etc. The PAPCEL Co. expects that the successful delivery will be followed by more intensive contacts directly with the company headquarters.
