High-pressure oscillating shower tube VOT

Product description
High-pressure oscillating shower tube VOT with electromechanical oscillation is used for high-pressure cleaning of wires and felts in paper machines by clear water overpressure of 1,0 to 5 MPa.

This cleaning procedure brings positive influence on the felt and wire service life (keeping original properties of wires and felts for optimal PM operation), quality of paper sorts to be produced and energy consumption. High-pressure shower tube is made of stainless steel in two standard modifications:

  • shower tube Ø 57 mm (shower attachment spacing up to 3.500 mm)
  • shower tube Ø 76 mm (shower attachment spacing up to 5.500 mm)

Design

High pressure shower tubes are provided with nozzles with needle jet of 0,84 - 1,75 mm diameter. To provide optimal cleaning their max. distance to the wire or to the felt has to be up to 100 mm.  Max. spacing of nozzles in connection with the oscillator stroke should be up to 125 mm. A standard modification is equipped with a blind flange on its control side to enable required cleaning of  inside space and nozzles. A connection for a high-pressure hose is installed on the drive side. Optionally, these shower tubes can also be equipped with a cleaning brush for cleaning the own inside space and nozzles.

Oscillation control

A special control mechanism allows any desired adjustment of the shower tube stroke within the range of the oscillator stroke (max. 250 mm). The swinging speed adjustment can be done manually (through PM speed values to be entered through keys on PM control board) or automatically (PM speed is directly derived from PM drive). This control mechanism enables connections of more oscillating shower tubes to one control board only. This control board can control also pump operation, filters in pump suction and delivery lines and water supply to particular oscillating shower tubes. It also comprises a blocking system and links to particular system groups together with blockage of PM drive.

Machine design and work safety are in compliance with EU standards.
