Product description
Regulators PR are designed for wire and felt run regulation of paper machines or for contingent regulation of other endless belts. The regulation itself consists of a pneumatically controlled sensor with a vane and of a pneumatic circuit. According to the disposition and operating position in paper machine the regulators are produced in a standard design as is introduced in a chart overleaf. For all regulator types we recommend a pneumatic sensor PR-01-PV.
Design
A horizontal regulator PR-xxxH consists of a bearing housing in which a guide roll is fitted. This bearing housing can turn on a bearing pin by means of two pneumatic bellows.
A vertical regulator PR-xxxV is nearly of the same design as the horizontal one with the only difference consisting in the fact that its lower pneumatic bellow is bigger due to elimination of weight of the roll to be regulated.
Special regulators PR-xxxS are designed for wire run regulation in PM wire parts for guide roll with doctor.
Sensor with vane PR-01-PV
The pneumatic regulator is an actuator which sets a guide roll into a needed position according to evaluation of sensor impulses. Generally, the sensing element works like a distributor valve forcing the pressure air to enter particular pneumatic bellows. The sensor dislocation is due to vane swinging to the right or to the left from the central position of the longitudinal equipment axis. The sensor tip is to be set in its central balanced position during installation by pushing it on the relevant edge of the endless belt.
Machine design and work safety are in compliance with EU standards.
