Press with extended pressing zone JUMBO is delivered in two-roll design with down-pressure of top press rolls induced hydraulically. It is usually used as the last press before the input part of the PM drying part. 
Press rolls of the latest design are fitted in double-row barrel-shaped roller bearings and bearing housings that allow grease or oil lubrication according to speeds and loads. An integral part of these rolls is their internal cooling system for stabilisation of roll blanket temperatures. This roll blanket is made of highly elastic rubber with high mechanical and thermal resistance.
Due to the given properties the pressing zone of the Jumbo press gets extended. The roll blanket is crowned in accordance with precalculated roll bending deflection and operating linear stresses. In the roll blanket there are blind-bored holes for better water draining while pressing.
Both rolls are embraced with press roll felts that are rated individually according to actual speeds, linear stresses and paper sorts. Every Jumbo press comprises also system of regulation, felt stretching and felt conditioning.
This press is equipped with a two-motor drive, i.e. each press roll is driven by its own driving unit. This machine comprises also the electric part of drive, system of controls with control board, hydraulics for down-pressure of top press roll and paper web threading system.
Machine design and work safety are in compliance with EU standards.
