Rejects dewatering drum OBN

Product description

Rotary rejects dewatering drum OBN-10 is designed for dewatering of washed rejects at separation of impurities from pulper of waste paper and pulper screen PSN and for thickening of unpulped rests discharged into OBN-10 while cleaning the pulper chest.
The rotary dewatering drum parameters are determinated by an actual grade of impurities in waste paper and by a type of these impurities. The dewatering drum OBN-10 capacity ranges from 20 to 60 m3/h and depends on the reject input consistency and the given sort of impurities.
The OBN ingoing rejects should be properly deflaked and washed so that the reject input consistency should be less than 1 %. Afterwards, it is possible to expect the outgoing reject dryness ranging from 15 to 20 % and a quite insignificant loss of fibres. The machine can be used as special accessories for pulper chest cleaning (horizontal or vertical type).

Design

Dewatering drum is usually anchored to a concrete base or steel structure. In the middle of the base there is a hole for installation of a collecting trough. It can be bolted together with a supply line after dewatering drum anchorage. Should a collecting trough is directly under the drum, the collecting tank is unnecessary. Due to this fact, this through is not included in a standard delivery.

Material

All parts coming in contact with the stock are made of stainless steel AISI 321 or AISI 316 Ti, other machine parts are made of structural steel St 52.
