Reel with Carrying Roll and Magazine of Empty Reel Spools for PM 5

Delivery of a reel with carrying roll, type POPE, controlled by four pairs of hydraulic cylinders. Hardness of paper roll winding can be changed by variation of pressures in hydraulic cylinders independently both on operating and drive side. The reel is equipped with magazine of empty reel spools that are automatically put in initial position when being changed. Empty reel spools are run up by additional drive. Wound reels with diameters up to 2.700 mm and width up to 2.600 mm are in end position hydraulically damped and braked. Carrying roll welded, equipped with swinging doctor, intended for paper web picking at threading. Band threading device used for web threading on new reel. Supplied reel equipped with rope threading with three independent ropes installed from paper web inlet part of calender up to new reel including particular rope threading. Fully automatic or semi-automatic control modes.
