Development teams within PAPCEL are active and focus on research and development of stock preparation lines and paper machines. On certain projects the teams cooperate with technical universities and international research centers. These are mainly various types of calculations, technological proces simulations and machinery design parameter simulations.
In 2015, thanks to acquiring ABK Machinery, PAPCEL joined together the forces with French colleagues in the field of R&D and gained access to the advanced "know-how".
In addition to the test room, PAPCEL Co. has been operating its own research centre for process control and automation since 2015, focusing on collecting, testing and evaluating data measured during project implementation.
Using the “online” access enables to analyse real-time data from customers' control systems.
